Pastels, graphite and charcoal are perfect mediums to bring out the best in pet portraits and horse portraits because of their versatility and longevity. Colin has been using all three for over 30 years, his artwork varying from wildlife, sketches of buildings, military art, portraits of people and of course, his much sought after horse portraits and pet portraits. A sample of all of these can be found in the wide range of galleries found within this website.

All that is needed is a decent photograph that can be emailed to Colin and he will do the rest.

About Colin

Colin lives with his wife in the beautiful countryside near Northampton, Northamptonshire on the River Nene where they enjoy the bird life and serenity that the river brings.

Colin has been drawing and painting since he was a child and over many years and hundreds of commissions, his self taught technique have developed into what it is today. After many years as a wildlife artist, he decided to concentrate and specialise in pet portraits and horse portraits whilst doing commissions of other subjects when requested. This has been very successful.
